ELM company won an absolutely special plot, situated in the near proximity of the Central Park, the football stadium and the outdoor swimming pool of the city. We started studying this plot around 1999. At that moment our concept was based on designing a high-rise office tower connected to another smaller building – a new landmark. Unfortunately, at that time ELM couldn’t find investors, and the project was put aside. In 2003 we designed another concept for ELM. The project lacked funds once again. When ELM approached us for the third time they were determined to develop their own office building.
We designed a new solution, one that would meet the client’s expectations and manage to stay within budget.
The facades talk of an apparently random vibration which makes sense as a whole, a vague rule proper for modern architecture. As it turned out, the third time was the lucky one!
