A large area reconveyed to former owners – who were commandeered when the socialist neighbourhood was built – is developing along a natural perch, next to a green area. The project seeks for a solution that would fit the scale of this place, combining an ending sight towards the road junction with the privacy of housing, at the edge of the green public area. The strategy of withdrawing a storey is trying to diminish the volume not in order to adapt it to the neighbouring conditions, but, on the contrary, in order to make it visible for the faraway perspectives. Deep balconies are conceived as oriented boxes and protected intimacies, searching for long sights along the entire horizon. The users on the ground floor can extend their property with little private gardens. An important part of the plot was ceded to the public space, contributing to the present and future organization of systems of continuous spaces.
